Dig|Safely. New York is proud to have 5 very talented Field Representatives and an Operations Manager to help work with excavators and utilities alike.

With Dig|Safely. New York providing "one-call" service to 55 of the 62 counties in New York State, the scope and responsibilities of our Field Representatives has increased dramatically. Their primary mission is to provide support to the local Damage Prevention Councils (DPC's) by way of conducting area safety presentations, exhibiting at industry trade shows and by meeting one-on-one with area excavators and Facility Operators. With the State Law on underground safety in place, Kevin, Rich, Don, Jim, Donna and John are available for FREE presentations to your employees and staff. Their schedules fill quickly, so call today. Remember, these five Field Representatives are a vital link between Dig|Safely. New York and you. Get to know them well because underground safety is everyone's business.

	Richard Fiorella P.E. (Field Representative) (716)741-7962 E-Mail: Rich serves the counties within the Western New York DPC, and also assists in the UCC  with the counties of Genesee, Wyoming and Livingston.
	Don Ross (Field Representative) (315)553-2358 E-Mail: Don serves the counties within the Utility Coordinating Committee DPC, and also assists in the Souther Tier DPC  with the counties of Steuben, Schuyler and Chemung.
	Jim Flint (Field Representative) (315) 506-9822 E-Mail: Jim serves the counties within the Central New York DPC, Southern Tier DPC, and the Mohawk Valley DPC.
	Donna Shave (Field Representative) (518) 424-8273 E-Mail: Donna serves the counties within the Northeast DPC and Capital Region DPC.
	John Yehl (Field Representative) (845) 255-4994 E-Mail: John serves the Hudson Valley region of the State which includes the counties of Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester. John also assists in the Capital Region DPC with the counties of Greene and Columbia.

There are many ways Dig|Safely. New York Field Representatives can communicate our underground safety message to area excavators and utility operators. Among the more successful and popular are safety presentations, whereby they:

• Provide a complete overview New York State Law (Code Rule 753)
• Explain the responsibilities of excavators and utility owners
• Explore the purpose and function of our one-call center
• Review liability issues -- both financial and personal injury
• Present videos of actual site damages and disasters
• Promote the purpose and activities of Dig|Safely. New York Damage Prevention Councils

These "Safety Presentations" are packed with facts, figures and information that excavators and operators need to be aware of.
